SCALE DISPLAY BOX REPLACEMENT
Required Tools:
Wire Cutters 1/2” Open End Wrench Phillips Screwdriver Torque Wrench
1. Pump the litter up to full height.
2. Using wire cutters, cut all the cable ties holding the load cell cables to the litter frame.
3. Disconnect all four load cells from the cables.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver and a 1/2” wrench, remove the two screws and nuts holding the display box
to the litter frame.
5. Reverse steps 14 to install the new display box.
CAUTION
To avoid cracking the plastic display box, don’t overtighten the truss head screws when reattaching the dis-
play box to the litter frame. Torque the screws to 15 footpounds maximum.
6. When replacing the cable ties, refer to the assembly print for your specific litter for a diagram of the cable
tie locations. Do not compress the cables when installing the new cable ties.
SCALE DISPLAY COVER REPLACEMENT
Required Tools:
Utility Knife Phillips Screwdriver
1. Using a utility knife, pry up a corner of the display label and remove the label from the upper display cover.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the upper display cover to the display box
and lift off the cover and lens.
3. Remove the lens from the damaged display cover and install it on the new cover.
4. Using the four Phillips screws, reinstall the new upper display cover with the lens.
5. Clean the surface of the display cover with alcohol and install the new display label.
SCALE DISPLAY LENS REPLACEMENT
Required Tools:
Utility Knife Phillips Screwdriver
1. Using a utility knife, pry up a corner of the display label and remove the label from the upper display cover.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the upper display cover to the display box
and lift off the cover and lens.
3. Remove and discard the damaged lens. Install the new lens on the cover.
4. Using the four Phillips screws, reinstall the upper display cover with the new lens.
5. Clean the surface of the display cover with alcohol and install the new display label.
