Weighing the
Patient
1. Before putting the patient
onto the bed, put any
sheets or pillows you plan
to use for the patient in
place. This bedding has
weight that must be
zeroed out. Do not zero
the scale with the
patient in the bed.
Press Zero.
3. Follow the prompts until
“Zero Success” display.
The weight is displayed in
the Current Patient Weight
area.
Note: The InTouch scale is
accurate with the bed and
patient in any position.
