9.4 Exchange the oat drain
The following requirements must be fullled to exchange the oat drain and preparatory work must be completed.
Preconditions
Tool Material Protective equipment
• Screwdriver - Phillip's head size
0.10 inch (2.5 mm)
• New oat drain with included
adapter
• Protective gloves (liquid-
resistant)
• Safety glasses with side
protection (goggles)
• Hearing protection
• Class FFP 3 respirator
• Safety shoes
Preparatory work
1. Open any bypass lines

1. Close the shut-o valves upstream and downstream of
the lter or relevant system section
2.
2. Turn the knurled-head screw on the oat drain
counter-clockwise (left) from >>automatic drainage<<
to >>mechanically open<<
