Symptom(s) Possible causes Remedy
Poor compressed quality
Load too high, intermittent load
• Change operating method
• Avoid pressure surges
• Comply with the specied
operating parameters, in
particular during start-up
Non-functional condensate drain
• Ensure regular condensate
drainage
Incorrectly dimensioned unit
• Dimension lter with indicated
operating parameters and
exchange if necessary
Filter element installed incorrectly
• Observe the direction of ow /
installation direction for the lter
element
O-ring was damaged during
installation
• Purchase new lter element and
o-ring, install carefully
High pressure dierential
Incorrectly dimensioned unit
• Dimension lter with indicated
operating parameters and
exchange for a larger one if
necessary
High level of contamination
• Shorten maintenance interval for
exchanging the lter element,
• Stepped ltration may be
necessary
Destroyed lter elements
• Change operating method
• Stepped ltration may be
