6.7 AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE
Refer to Figure 6-3 & Figure 6-4. Air filter
maintenance on air filter no. 02250140-798 should
be performed when the Supervisor™ displays Air
Filter Main, or once a year, whichever comes first. If
the filter needs to be replaced, order replacement
element #02250135-150 for 100/150HP system or
replacement element #02250135-155 for 200/250HP
system. Consult the following procedures to replace
the air filter element.
AIR FILTER ELEMENT REMOVAL
1. Clean exterior of air filter housing.
2. Release the wing nut and remove the end
cap.
3. Remove element and clean interior of
housing using a damp cloth.
ELEMENT INSPECTION
1. Place a bright light inside the element to
inspect for damage or leak holes. Concen-
trated light will shine through the element,
revealing any holes.
2. Inspect all gaskets and gasket contact sur-
faces of the housing. Should faulty gaskets
be evident, correct the condition immedi-
ately.
3. If the clean element is to be stored for later
use, it must be stored in a clean, closed con-
tainer.
4. After the element has been installed, inspect
and tighten, if necessary, all air inlet connec-
tions prior to resuming operation.
