Why is my SunStar SPS/E-BS1202 Sewing Machine thread getting cut?

  The thread may be getting cut due to several reasons. Ensure the thread is inserted correctly. Reinstall the needle, paying attention to its height and direction. A damaged needle (bent, cracked, or with an abraded tip) can also cause this, so replace it if necessary. Adjust the tension of both the upper and lower threads, as well as the tension and stroke of the take-up lever spring. Finally, inspect the shuttle surface spring for cracks and replace it if needed.
