Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation
Before following the procedure below to install expansion cards, rst turn o and remove
power from the system as described in section 3.1 then remove the top cover.
Installing Expansion Cards
1. Open any clips next to the slots and remove the PCI shield.
2. Install the riser card to the riser bracket, if necessary.
3. Install one or two expansion cards into the riser card. See the next page for M.2 SSD
installation.
4. Insert the riser card bracket with the expansion cards into the chassis rear and connect
cables.
5. Close any opened clips to secure the riser card bracket.
