4. Choose whether to make the NVMe drives in this IOU HotPlugCapable by selecting
Enabled or Disabled.
5. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each IOU # on each CPU to enable VMD on the desired
NVMe ports.

6. Press [F4] to save the conguration and reboot the system.
Note: If there is an existing RAID conguration, delete the RAID volume associated with
the VMD controller before disabling the controller. Failure to do so may lead to unexpected
behavior.
Note: The e󰀨ects of physically changing or swapping a CPU on the VMD controller have
not been thoroughly tested or documented.
