5. Hold
the
throttle
cable and mixing body top as-
sembly in one hand.
Place the spring in the top
and compress the spring so
the
throttle
cable
extends beyond the spring.
6. Guide the
throttle
slide valve over
the
throttle
cable. Insert the end of
the
cable
through
the
hole
in
the
throttle
slide valve slot.
7. While keeping the spring compressed, release
the
throttle
valve and install the spring seat
plate. Then release
the
spring.
8.
Install the
throttle
slide valve into
the
carbure-
tor
so the slot in the
throttle
valve mates
with
the
locating pin in
the
throttle
valve bore. In-
stall
the mixing body top assembly and
tighten
finger
tight.
9.
Synchronize the
throttle
cables and
the
oil
pump
cable in accordance
with
Section 2.
Tighten
the
throttle
cable locknuts.
