NOTE: Spacers are used
between
the
fan pulley
halves
to adjust fan belt tension. Using
fewer
spacers increases fan belt
tension.

reassembly
place

behind the inside pulley
half and the balance
outboard of the outside pulley
half
to
maintain
proper

Using a heat
gun
or propane torch, heat
aluminum
fan
case
allowing
bearings to
be
removed from fan case.
IWARNINGI
Do
not
contact
heated
fan
housing
with
bare
hands
or severe
burn
could
result.

ru-Arc
or circlip pliers remove circlip
and
two
spacers from fan
housing.

NOTE: Circlip
is
used to
correctly
position
bearings.
Spacers are installed
between
bearings
to
eliminate side loads
