2. CHECKING THE MAGNETO AND IGNITION
COIL
Do not use an improper tester (insulation re-
sistance testers or
other testers with a battery
of
large capacity).
The use of a
large capacity tester may ruin the
COl igniter.
To locate the cause of trouble (broken coil,
short circuit, etc.) measure the resistance of
each coil winding .
