4. SPARK PLUG CAP
Unscrew
the
spark plug cap
from
the
high
tension
wire
and
test
for
5,000
n ±
20
% re-
sistance
between
the
terminals
at each end
of
the
cap. (See Figure 3-3.)
Problem
No
spark is produced
The
engine
starts but
will
not
pick up speed
The
engine
is cranked again
but
w ill
not
start
The eng
ine
tends to kick back
