REASSEMBLY
AND
REMOUNTING
Reassemble
and
remount the
front
fork
in the
reverse
order
of
removal
and
disassembly, and
also
carry
out
the following
steps.
INNER TUBE
METAL
Install the metal by hand
as
shown.
CAUTION:
Use
special
care
to
prevent
damage
to
the
"Teflon"
coated
surface
of
the
Anti·friction
metal when mounting
it.
OIL
LOCK PIECE
Install the oil lock piece
CD
as
shown in the photograph.
CYLINDER
LOCK
BOLT
Refer
to
page
7·13.
Tighten the cylinder lock bolts.
OUTER TUBE
METAL,
WASHER
AND
OIL
SEAL
• Install the outer tube metal, washer and oil
seal
with
the
special tool.
CAUTION:
Use
special care
to
prevent
damage
to
the
"Teflon"
coated
surface
of
the anti·friction metal when mounting
it.
