Cylinder Head Removal
Remove seat, luggage box and body cover.
Remove engine. (Refer to chapter 5)
Remove the clamp strip bolt of carburetor, and
disconnect vacuum tube from the carburetor
insulator.
Remove Air Injection system (AI) pipe mounting
bolt.
Remove 1 bolt of thermostat and then remove the
thermostat.
Remove the hole cap for the adjustment bolt of
cam chain tensioner, and then loosen the
tensioner by turning a flat-driver in C.W direction.
Remove the side cover mounting blots of cylinder
head, and then take out the side cover.
Remove cam sprocket bolts and then remove the
sprocket by prying chain out.

AI. Pipe bolt
2 bolts
Hole cap of adjustment bolt
Thermostat bolt
2 bolts
