Spark plug inspection
Check the sparking condition.
If the sparking condition is not proper or the
spark plug electrode is contaminated, replace
it with new one.
Caution
z Be extremely careful to carry out the
sparking condition inspection.
Ignition coil removal
Remove the seat and fuel tank.
Remove the spark plug cap.
Disconnect the ignition coil wire (black/yellow).
Remove the ignition coil (screw x 2).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Use a multi meter with input resistor over
10MΩ 10CV.
Connect the terminals of primary winding,
positive cable to Black / Yellow, negative cable
to earth.
Minimum voltage：95~400V
Caution
z Do not touch the probe metal during
inspection, or electric shock may happen.
