Whenthealarm”InternalBattery”isactivatedandthebatteryLEDlightsupred,thebatteryforbackupof
programmemoryandreal‐timeclockhasbecometooweak.Thebatteryisreplacedasdescribed
below.A
backupcapacitorsavesthememoryandkeepstheclockrunningforatleast10minutesafterthepower
supplyisremoved.Therefore,ifthebatteryreplacementtakeslessthan10minutes,ther ewillbenoneed
toreloadtheprogram,andtheclockwillcontinuetorunnormally.
ThereplacementbatterymustbeofthetypeCR2032.
Removethecoverbypressingdownthelocking
torquesattheedgeofthecoverusingasmall
screwdriver,andatthesametimepulling theedges
outwards.
Gripthebatteryfirmlywithyourfingersandliftit
upwardsuntilitrisesfromitsholder.Pressthenew
batteryfirmlydownintoplace.Notethatto
preservecorrectpolarity;thebatterycanonlybe
insertedthe“rightwayround”.
