Traveling Posture
Traveling up slopes
When traveling up slopes at an angle of 15°
or greater, travel in the posture shown in the
diagram above.
Traveling down slopes
When traveling down slopes at an angle of
15° or greater, lower the engine speed and
travel in the posture shown in the diagram
above.
Braking when traveling down slopes
When traveling down slopes, the brakes are
applied automatically when the travel levers
are returned to the neutral position.
If the crawlers slip
If the crawlers slip while traveling up a
slope, use the pulling force of the arm to
climb the slope.
If the engine stops
If the engine stops when traveling down
a slope, set the travel levers to the neutral
position, stop the machine, then set the
dozer blade against the ground and start
the engine.
