connected to a computer by USB.
Adjusting the contrast
The contrast of the display can be adjusted.
Follow the procedures below to adjust the contrast.
1 When the recorder is stopped, press the MENU
button to open the MENU screen.
2 Use the data wheel to select PREFERENCE , and
press the F4 (¥) button to open the PREFERENCE
screen.
3 Use the F3 (§) and F4 () buttons to select the
Contrast setting value, and use the DATA wheel to
adjust the display contrast.
The setting range is from 1 – 10 .
The default value is 5 .
Lower values reduce the display contrast while higher
values increase it.
Adjusting the contrast might make the display easier to
read. Its appearance differs depending on the angle from
which it is viewed, so adjust the contrast while the unit is
in the actual position in which it will be used.
4 After making the setting, press the HOME button
to return to the Home Screen.
