What to do if my TCL Air Conditioner displays E1 or E2?
- RRobert ScottJul 30, 2025
If your TCL Air Conditioner displays error code E1 or E2, it could be due to a loose or unplugged sensor connection. Check the connector of the sensor and slot (CN6, CN6-1, CN6-2) and reconnect if necessary. Alternatively, the room temperature sensor (IRT) or indoor pipe (coil) temperature sensor (IPT) might be damaged (short or broken). Check the resistance of the sensor: wall type R (25?) =5 k?, cassette and duct type R (25?) =5 k?. If it's shorted or broken, replace the sensor.
