One-touch editing preparation
The unit automatically identifies the type of tape.
Check that the tape’s tabs (see page 44) are intact.
I 4 OPEN/CLOSE Press 4 OPEN/CLOSE on
deck 2, and then insert a tape.
When the edit-record starts, the cassette
deck will automatically rewind the tape
back to the beginning where the record-
ing can be made. So you don’t have to
rewind the tape in advance.

Be sure to finish the procedure of “One-touch editing prepara-
tion” on the left of this page.
Editing of tracks in their original sequence
(ALBUM)
Press ALBUM.

editing operation” on page 29.
Allotting tracks to the tape without wasting tape
space (J. FIT)
Press J. FIT.

To cancel one-touch editing:
Press 0 on the cassette deck.
The CD player also stops.
Use a tape of under 99 minutes.
