Safety instructions in connection with lithium-ion batteries
WARNING!
The STERNRADIO IR 2 is equipped with a modern, powerful Li-Ion battery
that meets all safety requirements.
Due to the higher hazard potential of modern rechargeable batteries, please
ensure that you handle the device with care and observe the following safety
instructions.

Only operate the device with the battery approved for this device.

If possible, charge your device in a place with a smoke or fire alarm.

Ensure that there are no flammable materials or objects in the immediate
vicinity when charging.

Stay close to the device when charging and do not charge it while you are
sleeping.

Do not charge the device outdoors, in damp rooms or in places where very
high temperatures are to be expected (e.g. in a garden shed or behind the
windscreen in a car).

If the device is not to be used for a longer period of time, remove the
battery.
