6.4 General device functions
6.4.1 Switch on the device
> Prepare the STERNRADIO IR 2 for operation as described above.
> Switch the mains switch on the back to the ON position.
> Press the On/Standby button to switch on the STERNRADIO IR 2.
After switching on for the first time, the initial installation wizard starts.
Follow the instructions in the respective chapter.
6.4.2 Switch off the device
> You can switch the device to standby mode by briefly pressing the
On/Standby button . Depending on the configuration, the display will
show the time / date and weGer information for your location.
> If you want to switch off the STERNRADIO IR 2 completely, switch the
mains switch to the OFF position.
