Why does my Tecsun S-2000 Receiver only make noise when the alarm goes off?
If you're only hearing noises when the alarm goes off on your Tecsun Receiver, it's likely that no station is stored in TIMER A or TIMER B, or the station is in sleep mode. To resolve this, store a station into either TIMER A or TIMER B.

If you're not getting any reception when using an external antenna with your Tecsun Receiver, check the antenna selection switch. If it's set to INT. ANT., switch it to the EXT. ANT. position.
