11. Select Dolby E Setup. T he settings you
make will apply to the input when Dolby
E content is de
tected for the Dolby input
selected.
12. Select Dialnorm and toggle to On or
OFF. When On, the dialog normalization
is applied to
the audio bars and the
analog and digital outputs.
13. Select Pulldown Decoding and toggle
to On or OFF. When On, pulldown
decoding is
applied to the audio bars and
the analog and digital outputs.
14. Select Guardband Limits for either
SD/Cpst or
HD/DL/3G. If you select
Custom, you can then set the line
maximum and minimum.
NOTE. Dolb
y E Guardband allows you to
set the Dolby E frame location threshold.
You can disable the alarm, customize the
threshol
d, or set it to RDD.6, which sets the
threshold limits to correspond to the limits in
SMPTE RDD.6
15. View the Dolby Guardband thermometer,
which is located at the bottom of the
Audio di
splay. The thermometer will be
green for lev e ls that fall within the limits
you have set.
