Set Privacy Mask
Scenario: Assume that you have set up a monitoring network with the NVR, and the camera D1 is
installed in the living room.
Requirement: You want to hide the privacy area in the monitoring image.
Solutions: Configure the Privacy Mask functions to meet this requirement.
Procedure:
Step 1 Log in to the GUI of the NVR.
Step 2 Navigate to Configuration > Channel > Privacy Mask.
Step 3 Select Channel, which is D1 in this example.
Step 4
Enable the Privacy Mask function, and use the mouse to draw a privacy area in the
monitoring area on the right (The figure is for reference only.)
Step 5
Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Settings completed. The Privacy Mask area will not be displayed on the monitoring image.
