Transport and Lifting Instructions
Observe and Obey:
Only qualified riggers should rig and lift the
machine.
Be sure the crane capacity, lifting hook, loading
surfaces and straps or lines are sufficient to
withstand the machine weight. See the serial
plate for the machine weight.
Lifting the Machine With a Crane
Fully retract and lower the tower to the stowed
position.
Secure the tower for transport with the upper
retaining pin.
Fully retract and secure the outriggers and all
leveling jacks, except the tongue leveling jack, in
the stowed position.
Close and secure the cabinet doors.
Use the lifting eye on the tower to lift the machine,
attach a lifting hook to the lifting eye.

Chock the machine wheels in preparation for
transport.
Turn the key switch to the off position and remove
the key OR lock the control panel to secure from
unauthorized use.
Inspect the entire machine for loose or unsecured
items.
Place a block on both sides of the axle behind the
wheels.
Place a block under the chassis at both ends of the
machine.
Use the four tie-down points for anchoring down to
the transport surface.
Use a minimum of four chains to secure the light
tower.
Adjust the rigging to prevent damage to the chains.
