DAILY MAINTENANCE
CHECK TRANSMISSION
OIL
LEVEL
Location:
Dipstick (A)
To
Check: Level the machine.
Place the transmission control in neutral.
Set the parking brake.
The engine must
be
running to check.
Bring the transmission oil temperature to a
minimum
of
180 degrees
F.
Remove the dipstick. The oil level should be
between the add and full marks.
Replace the dipstick.
NOTE: Refer to page 5-24
of
this manual for the proper oil
specifications and capacities.
CHECK HYDRAULIC OIL LEVEL
Location:
Sight glass (B). Behind the rear panel.
To
Check: Move the machine to level ground.
Level the frame.
Completely retract the boom.
Position the forks level.
Lower the
boom
to the ground.
Oil should be visible

way in sight glass (B).

specifications and capacities.
