  If the Thermo King Printer displays 'PRINTING DATA' for more than 1 minute, it indicates a communication issue between CargoWatch and the printer. First, try turning the trailer unit off and then on again, then try printing the ticket again. If the issue persists, change the BAUD rate of both the HMI and the TouchPrint to 57600. For the HMI, navigate to Guarded Access/Programmable Features/COM 2 Baud Rate. For the TouchPrint Printer, go to Advance Operation/UART Settings. Note that if the BAUD rate is not the same for both, ERROR 6 will appear on the TouchPrint screen.

  If you encounter an error while printing a delivery ticket on your Thermo King printer with the code '6 TK ERROR i', verify that the Baud rate matches the connected DATALOGGER (Cargowatch) and check the electrical connections (TX and RX). If the HMI is engaged in ‘Engine start’ or ‘Alarm’, the Printer cannot communicate with CargoWatch; wait until the HMI is in normal mode and try again. You can also increase T1 in the parameter setting (in the service menu) to 60s to allow more communication time between the Printer and the Unit.

  If the Thermo King Printer displays a 'Language Glossary Error' with the symbol 'i', copy the .glo files (of all languages to be supported) onto a USB flash drive. Connect the USB drive using a short Mini USB cable. If the download doesn't happen automatically, restart the device. Note that the ABC symbol represents the glossaries of the TouchPrint, and these files should only be replaced with new glossaries if necessary. If glossaries are deleted, place the .GLO files (available to TK Dealers) on a USB memory stick and connect it to the TouchPrint mini USB port.
