4.9 Cleaning the Fan Filter
You need to clean the fan filter (P/N 97055-20254) very four months. The fan
filters is located on the rear of the MS detector on the right side. To clean the
fan filters, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the fan filter from the rear of the MS detector by pulling it up and
out of the fan filter bracket.
2. Wash the fan filters in a solution of soap and water.
3. Rinse the fan filters with tap water.
4. Squeeze the water from the fan filters and allow them to air dry.
5. Reinstall the fan filter in the fan filter bracket.
