Tochecktheacpoweradapter,dothefollowing:
1.Unplugtheacpoweradaptercablefromthecomputer.

Checkingoperationalcharging
Tocheckwhetherthebatterypackchargescorrectlyduringoperation,dothefollowing:
1.Dischargethebatterypackuntiltheremainingbatterypowerislessthan50%.
2.Connectthecomputertoacpowertochargethebatterypack.IfthebatterystatusiconintheWindows
noticationareaindicatesthatthebatteriesarenotcharging,removethebatterypackandletthem
returntoroomtemperature.
3.Reinstallthebatterypack.Ifthebatteriesarestillnotcharging,replacethebatterypack.
4.Checkthebatterystatusiconagain.Ifthesameerrorstillexists,replacethesystemboard.Otherwise,
checktheoriginalbatterypack.See“Checkingthebatterypack”onpage31.
Checkingthebatterypack
ThissystemsupportsonlybatteriesspeciallydesignedforthisspecicsystemandmanufacturedbyLenovo
oranauthorizedbuilder.Thesystemdoesnotsupportunauthorizedbatteriesorbatteriesdesignedforother
systems.Ifanunauthorizedbatterypackorabatterypackdesignedforanothersystemisinstalled,the
systemwillnotcharge.
