4.4A Engine Oil and Filter

7. Replace the oil drain plug after the oil
has completely drained.
8. Remove the oil filler cap (T90039).
9. Add 8.5 quarts (8 liters) 10W30 motor
oil. Only use minimum API classifica-
tion CF.
10. Replace the oil filler cap.
11. Start the engine and check for leaks
around the oil filter and drain plug.
Operate for two to three minutes and
shut it off.
12. Allow the engine to sit for five minutes
and then check the engine oil level.
Add oil to bring to the full level mark
as required. Do not over fill.
In severe dust applications, change the
engine oil every 75 hours, and the oil filter
every 150 hours.
