Chapter 4 Standalone Operation
4.4.4 Menu Option - Set Velocity
This option is used to set the max velocity for a specific
channel when a move command is initiated via the GUI
panel or via software. It is not applicable to moves
initiated by the joystick (see Section 6.3.3.).
The piezo motor moves by ramping up the drive voltage
to the value set in the Peak Voltage parameter (see
Section 4.4.10.) and then dropping quickly to zero. This
cycle is then repeated (see Fig. 6.3).
The velocity is specified in cycles/sec, in the range 1 to
2,000.
Press the MENU button, then use the joystick to scroll
through the menu options.
Press the MENU button to enter the Set Velocity option.
Use the joystick to select the appropriate channel, then
press the MENU button to select the channel.
Use the joystick to adjust the velocity, in the range 1 to
2,000 cycles/sec.

ress the MENU button to save the setting and return to
the main operating display.
