8.0 Special versions (SA)
8.1 SA1 Additional pulse generator
Additional control functions are provided for meeting special
customer requirements.
For connection and technical data see chapter 2.8.
For assembly and disassembly see chapter 7.6.
SA2 With motor snubber
The motor snubber is used for limiting the line switching surge at the
motor winding.
This does not apply to THYSSEN frequency converter with integrated
energy recovery since standard provisions have been made for
limiting line switching surge at the motor.
8.2 SA3 Safety contact on machine frame
With use of hydraulic jack on traction sheave.
See chapter 1.3 fig. 2.
A switch provided below the location hole of the hydraulic jack
interrupts the power supply and thus prevents the drive from being
set into operation.
Note: is replaced by a safety contact on the rope guard cover of the traction
sheave for new installations.
