9.2 Additional parts
For use of DAF 330 the following additional parts are available optionally:
1. Handwheel
2. Rope clamp
3. Blocking clamp
4. Rope clamp for rope pulley
5. Thrust piece
6. Hydraulic jack
Note: the parts above are necessary for emergency operations or when
performing servicing or repair works, at least one set of these parts shall be
provided in the machine room.
1. Handwheel
The handwheel is screwed on the front side of the traction sheave.
It is provided for moving the car in the case of balanced load conditions,
i.e. if car weight = counterweight
Manually release the brake in this case.
Attention: disassemble the handwheel before
you connect the motor !
Do not operate the motor with mounted on handwheel
2. Rope clamp
Place the rope clamp onto the machine
frame prior to tightening the screws
(pos. 2).
When the rope clamp is mounted on the
rope departure of the traction sheave, the
recess (pos. 1) shall rest on the frame
and the opposite surface shall rest on the
support bracket welded on the frame.
Use:
a) For securing the rope; prevents rope movements in direction of clamping
power.
b) For maintaining the car stationary
c) For maintaining the rope stationary; when releasing safety gear
