1. Tu rn the UP LEVELING adjustment screw OUT (ccw) until
it stops. See Figure 1 and Figure 2.
2. Tu rn IN (cw) 4 turns.
Adjustment Needles
NOTE: Do not loosen the nuts on the adjustment needle
stemstomakeadjustments.Theyshouldbesnugagainstthe
valve body at all times.
1. Turn the UP START, UP STOP, and UP SLOWDOWN ad-
justment needles In (cw) to fully closed position. See
Figure 2.
2. Turn the UP START needle OUT (ccw) 9 turns.
3. TurntheUPSTOPneedleOUT(ccw)3turns.
4. The UP SLOWDOWN needle should remain closed at this
time.
Down Section
Lowering and Leveling Speed Adjustment
1. With the car set on the buffers adjust the LOWERING and
LEVELING screw so that

I (20 mm) extends beyond
the valve body. See Figure 3.
To avoid damage to the piston
face and seat, never turn the
Lowering and Leveling Speed Adjustment unless the car
is resting on the buffers or the car isin motion.
