prestretcher
1.8 Height adjustment
of pre-stretcher
In order to get a smooth fi lm on the bale, adjust
the fi lm-prestretcher to ensure that the fi lm
centre line and the bale centre line are identical

This will vary with different bale diameters.
If bale and fi lm have not been properly aligned,
more fi lm than necessary will be used.
Preparation
• Fit the prestretcher holder.
• Fit the fi lm-prestretcher.

In standard version, the pre-stretcher is
equipped with a gear A, wich provides a fi lm
stretch of approx. 60% (55% or 65%).

• Check that the prestretcher rollers can be
easily moved by hand.
• Check that the prestretcher rollers are clean.
