The sensors, sensor cables and connections
must be in good conditions.
If not, the computer control system cannot
work, in any mode.
The command panel incorporates a keyboard
(membrane pad keys), a 4-way joystick, two
toggle switches and a display.
The keyboard is used for operating the
machine, for setting time parameters and to
determine if fully automatic or partly automatic
operation. The various key symbols are
explained on next page.
The joystick controls the turntable rotation, the
lift arm, and overrides the programme when
additional wraps are required. Is also used to
select parameters (“Select”).
The toggle switch bottom right has an
approbal function START. It is used to start
Automatic mode and to approve next
programme step. STOP wrapping before the
pre-set number of wraps is reached - the
programme continues for the fi nal step.
The display shows information via codes
(letters and numbers) such as current no. of
wraps e.g. 15:30 (15 completed turntable revs,
30 revs programmed).
It also displays various alarms such as “Err.5”.
