4.4 Use clean hydraulic oil
Clean hydraulic oil will prevent excessive wear and premature components failure.
Change the tractor fi lter and oil as per manufacturer instructions.
Filter indicator
Green - fi lter i orden
Red - change fi lter element
Check the fi lter when the oil is warm (at tractor engine rpm as for ordinary wrapping).
Cold oil may give wrong indication.
Note!
The tractor with closed centre system such as John Deere 30-, 40-, 50-series the turntable must
rotate in order to get correct indication
(oil must fl ow through the fi lter).

• Beware of the rotating turntable.
4.5 Operating the wrapper
Read this carefully before starting the
machine.
• Fit the roll of stretcfi lm in the prestretcher.
• Note the direction of rotation.
• Ensure the applicutter is correctly adjusted, see chapter 1.6
For gras, 6 layers of fi lm are recommended, laid according to the 2+2+2 method.
2+2 may be suffi cient for short-term storage (e.g. wrapping during the after-season).
60% prestretch of the fi lm is the standard.
For long term storage in areas with heavy light, 55% fi lm prestretch is recommended.

4.6 Working speed
Adjust to minimum tractor engine speed that will give a turntable speed of 30 rpm
(oil requirement 35 l/min).
Too high engine speed is uneconomical, inappropriate and may cause the oil to overheat.
The machine with solenoid operated valve bank features an integrated volume-
regulation valve, witch limits the oil fl ow through the engine to approx. 26 l/min.
