BrakePedals
The2footpedals(Figure25)operateindividualwheel
brakesforturningassistanceandtoaidinobtaining
bettersidehilltraction.
Pedal-LockingLatch
Thepedal-lockinglatch(Figure25)connectsthe
pedalstogethertoengagetheparkingbrake.
Parking-BrakePedal
Toengagetheparkingbrake,(Figure25)connectthe
pedalstogetherwiththepedal-lockinglatch,push
downontherightbrakepedalwhileengagingthetoe
pedal.Toreleasetheparkingbrake,press1ofthe
brakepedalsuntiltheparking-brakelatchretracts.

TractionPedal
Thetractionpedal(Figure25)controlsforwardand
reverseoperation.Pressthetopofthepedaltomove
forwardandthebottomtomovebackward.Ground
speedisdeterminedbyhowfaryoupressthepedal.
Formaximumgroundspeed,fullypressthepedal
whilethethrottleisintheFASTposition.
Tostopthemachine,reduceyourfootpressureon
thetractionpedalandallowittoreturntothecenter
position.
TiltSteeringPedal
Totiltthesteeringwheeltowardsyou,pressthefoot
pedal(Figure25)down,andpullthesteeringtower
towardyoutothemostcomfortablepositionandthen
releasethepedal.
Mow-SpeedLimiter
Whenthemow-speedlimiter(Figure26)isippedup
itwillcontrolthemowspeedandallowthecutting
unitstobeengaged.Eachspaceradjuststhemowing
speedby0.8km/h(0.5mph).Themorespacers
thatthereareonthetopofthebolt,theslowerthe
machinemoves.T otransportthemachine,ipback
themow-speedlimiterformaximumtransportspeed.
Speed-LimiterScrews
Adjustthescrew(s)(Figure26)tolimittheamountthat
youcanpressthetractionpedalforwardorreverseto
limitthespeed.
Important:Thespeed-limiterscrewmuststopthe
tractionpedalbeforethepumpreachesfullstroke;
otherwise,damagetothepumpmayoccur.

Thislever(Figure27)raisesandlowersthecutting
