Thetiresareoverinatedforshipping.Therefore,
releasesomeoftheairtoreducethepressure.The
correctairpressureinthetiresis83to103kPa(12to
15psi).Checkthetirepressuredaily.
Important:Maintaintherecommendedpressure
inalltirestoensureagoodqualityofcutand
propermachineperformance.Donotunderinate
thetires.
CheckingtheTorqueofthe
WheelNuts
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst8hours
Every200hours
Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecutting
units,engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,
andremovethekey.
WARNING
Failuretomaintainpropertorqueofthewheel
nutscouldresultinfailureorlossofawheel
andmayresultinpersonalinjury.
Torquethefrontandrearwheelnutsto
115to136N∙m(85to100ft-lb)after1to4
hoursofoperationandagainafter8hoursof
operation.Torquethewheelnutsevery200
hoursthereafter.
Note:Thefrontwheelnutsare1/2–20UNF.Therear
wheelnutsareM12x1.6-6H(metric).
CheckingforEnd-Playin
thePlanetaryDrives
ServiceInterval:Every400hours
Thereshouldbenoend-playintheplanetary
drives/drivewheels(i.e.,thewheelsshouldnotmove
whenyoupullorpushtheminadirectionparallelto
theaxle).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,lowerthecuttingunits,shutoff
theengine,andremovethekey.
2.Chocktherearwheelsandraisethefrontof
machine,supportingthefrontaxle/frameonjack
stands.
DANGER
Amachineonajackmaybeunstableand
slipoffthejack,injuringanyonebeneath
it.
Donotstarttheenginewhilethe
machineisonajack.
Alwaysremovethekeyfromthe
switchbeforegettingoffthemachine.
Blockthetireswhenyouareraising
themachinewithajack.
Supportthemachinewithjackstands.
3.Grasp1ofthefrontdrivewheelsandpush/pullit
towardandawayfromthemachine,notingany
movement.
