2.Removethefastenersthatsecurethebatteryto
thetrayandliftoutthebattery.
3.Connecta2to4Abatterychargertothebattery
posts.Chargethebatteryforatleast2hoursat
4Aorforatleast4hoursat2Auntilthespecic
gravityis1.250orhigherandthetemperatureis
atleast16°C(60°F)withallcellsgassingfreely.
WARNING
Chargingthebatteryproducesgasses
thatcanexplode.
Neversmokenearthebatteryandkeep
sparksandamesawayfromthebattery.
Important:Ifyoudonotchargethebattery
foratleastthetimespeciedabove,youmay
reducethelifeofthebattery.
4.Whenthebatteryischarged,disconnectthe
chargerfromtheelectricaloutletandbattery
posts.
5.Placethebatteryonthebatterytrayandsecure
itwiththebatteryclampandfastenersremoved
previously.
6.Connectthebattery;refertoConnectingthe
Battery(page38).
