Youcanadjusttheheightofcutfrom2.5to15.8cm(1to
6inches)in6mm(1/4inch)incrementsbyrelocatingthe
stoppinintodifferentholelocations.
1.Withtheenginerunning,pushthedeck-liftswitchup
untilthemowerdeckisfullyraisedandreleasethe
switchimmediately(Figure24).
2.Rotatethestoppinuntiltherollpininitlinesupwith
theslotsintheholesintheheight-of-cutbracketand
removeit(Figure27).
3.Selectaholeintheheight-of-cutbracketcorresponding
totheheightofcutdesired,insertthepin,androtateit
downtolockitinplace(Figure27).

FastThrottleSetting/GroundSpeed
Tomaintainenoughpowerforthemachineanddeckwhile
mowing,operatetheengineattheFASTthrottleposition
andadjustyourgroundspeedforconditions.Decreasethe
groundspeedastheloadonthecuttingbladesincrease;
increasethegroundspeedastheloadonthebladesdecrease.
MowingDirection
Alternatemowingdirectiontoavoidmakingrutsintheturf
overtime.Thisalsohelpsdisperseclippings,whichenhances
decompositionandfertilization.
CuttingSpeed
Toimprovecutquality,useaslowergroundspeedincertain
conditions.
AvoidCuttingTooLow
Ifthecuttingwidthofthemoweriswiderthanthemower
youpreviouslyused,raisethecuttingheighttoensurethat
uneventurfisnotcuttooshort.
