5.Rotatetensionrodtoraiseorlowerpivotarm
untilholesarealignedwithselectedheight-of-cut
bracketholesinthecuttingunitframe(

6.Inserttheclevispinsandinstallthehairpincotters.
7.Rotatetensionrodcounterclockwise(ngertight)to
puttensiononadjustment.

AdjustingtheSkids
Theskidsshouldbemountedinthelowerpositionwhen
operatingatheightsofcutgreaterthan64mm(2-1/2inches)
andinthehigherpositionwhenoperatingatheightsofcut
lowerthan64mm(2-1/2inches).
Adjusttheskidsbyremovingtheangeboltandnuts,
positioningthemasdesired,andinstallingthefasteners
(Figure24).

Thecuttingunitrollersshouldbemountedinthelower
positionwhenoperatinginheightofcutsgreaterthan64mm
(2-1/2inches)andinthehigherpositionwhenoperatingin
heightofcutslowerthan64mm(2-1/2inches).
1.Removetheboltandnutsecuringthegagewheelto
thecuttingunitbrackets(Figure26).

1.Raisecuttingunitsobladesarevisibleandblockcenter
decksectionsoitcannotfallaccidentally.Wingdecks
mustbehorizontaltocentercuttingunit.
2.Rotateacenterandadjoiningwingbladesothereblade
tipsarealigned.Measuredistancebetweenbladetips,
distanceshouldbeapproximately10-16mm(0.38-0.62
inch)(
