TheadjustmentforthePTO-engagementlinkageislocated
beneaththefrontleft-handcorneroftheenginedeck.
1.Disengagetheblade-control(PTO)leverandsetthe
parkingbrakes.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Engagetheblade-controllever(PTO).
4.Adjustthelinkagelengthtowherethelowerendofthe
bellcrankjustclearstheaxlesupportgusset(Figure47).

3.Disengagetheblade-controllever(PTO).Makesure
thattheassistarmisagainstthefront-assist-armstop.
4.Ifneeded,adjusttheblade-safetyswitchbyloosening
theboltsholdingtheswitchbracket(Figure49).
5.Movethemountingbracketuntilthebellcrankpresses
theplungerby6mm(1/4inch).
Note:Makesurethatthebellcrankdoesnottouch
theswitchbody;otherwise,damagetotheswitchcould
occur(Figure49).
