SpeedLimiter
Thespeedlimiterisalargeknoblocatedtotherightof
theseat(Figure14).Itallowsyoutosetthemaximum
downwardtraveloftheacceleratorpedal,thereby
limitingthemaximumrpmoftheengine.Thisindirectly
limitsthespeedofthesprayer.
Note:Thevehiclecontrolstheapplicationratebased
onyourspeedandyoudonotneedtokeepaconstant
speedtoapplyataconstantrate.

ChokeControl
Thechokecontrolisasmallknobtotherightofthe
seat.(Figure14).Tostartacoldengine,pullthechoke
controlup.Aftertheenginestarts,regulatethechoketo
keeptheenginerunningsmoothly.Assoonaspossible,
pushthecontroldowntotheOffposition.Awarm
enginerequireslittleornochoking.
RangeSelector
Therangeselector,locatedtotheleftoftheseat,has
5positions:3forwardspeeds,Neutral,andReverse
(Figure15).Theenginewillstartonlywhentherange
selectorisintheNeutralposition.Youmustalsofully
pressthebrakewiththesprayerstoppedtochange
ranges.
Important:Donotshiftoutoforchangeranges
whilethevehicleismoving.Attemptingtochange
rangeswhilethevehicleismovingcandamagethe
transmission.Onlystoppingthesprayercompletely,
andfullyengagingthebrakewillsafelydisengage
thelockingpinandallowtherangestobechanged.

theengine,has3positions:Stop,Run,andStart.Rotate
thekeyclockwisetotheStartpositiontostarttheengine
andreleaseittotheRunpositionwhenstarted.Rotate
thekeytotheStoppositiontostoptheengine.
HourMeter
Thehourmeter(Figure15)indicatesthetotalnumber
ofhourstheenginehasrun.Thehourmeterstartsto
functionwheneverthekeyisturnedtotheRunposition.
