previouslyandclosethedrainvalve(Figure28).
4.Fillthetankwithatleast50USgallons(190L)of
cleanfreshwaterandclosethecover.
Note:Youcanuseacleaning/neutralizingagentin
thewaterasneeded.Onthenalrinse,useonly
clean,clearwater.
5.Starttheengine.
6.WiththerangeselectorintheNeutralposition,
presstheacceleratorpedaltotheoorandsetthe
neutralenginespeedlockswitchtotheOnposition.
7.EnsurethattheagitationcontrolvalveisintheOn
position.
8.SetthepumpswitchtotheOnpositionandusethe
applicationrateswitchtoincreasethepressureto
ahighsetting.
9.Setthemasterboomswitchandboomcontrol
switchestotheOnpositionstobeginspraying.
10.Allowallofthewaterinthetanktosprayout
thoughthenozzles.
11.Checkthenozzlestoensurethattheyareall
sprayingcorrectly.
12.SetthemasterboomswitchtotheOffposition,
setthepumpswitchtotheOffposition,andstop
theengine.
13.Repeatsteps4through12atleast2moretimesto
ensurethatthespraysystemisfullycleaned.Onthe
lastcycle,runthelastfewgallonsofwaterthrough
thedrainvalvetoclearthedraintubing.
14.Cleanthestrainer;refertoCleaningtheSuction
StrainerintheCleaningsection.
Important:Ifyouusedwettablepowder
chemicals,cleanthestraineraftereachtank.
15.Usingagardenhose,sprayofftheoutsideofthe
sprayerwithcleanwater.
16.Removethenozzlesandcleanthembyhand.
Replacedamagedorwornnozzles.
