4. Adjust the position of the center boom frame so that is
is level. Adjust the boom holders’ height if necessary.
5. Torque all of the fasteners to 105 ft-lb (142 N⋅m).
6. Locate the center boom in loose parts and position it
directly behind the center boom frame with the nozzles
facing rearward.
7. Install the center boom to the center frame at the boom
mounting brackets (Fig. 24) using two boom clamps,
two bolts (3/8 x 1 inch), two washers (3/8 inch), and
two flange nuts (3/8 inch).
