opensandthecoolantiscirculatingthroughthe
radiatorcore.
Asairpurgesfromtheengineblockandthe
coolantleveldrops,addadditionalcoolanttothe
radiator.
10.Whentheradiatoriscompletelyfullandno
additionalcoolantcanbeadded,continue
runningandinstalltheradiatorcap.
Ensurethatthecapiscompletelyseatedby
pressingdownrmlywhileturning,untilthecap
stops.Oncethecapisinstalled,shutoffthe
engine.

Every400hours
Checktoensurethatparkingbrakeisadjusted
properly.Followthisprocedurealsowheneveryou
haveremovedorreplacedabrakecomponent.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineupandsupport
themachinewithjackstands.
4.Removethereartiresfromthemachine.
5.Removeanydebrisfromthebrakearea.
6.Releasethedrivewheels;refertoReleasingthe
DriveWheelReleaseValves(page44).
7.Measurethelengthofthelinkassembly(Figure
58).
Note:Ifthelinkassemblyisattachedinthe
frontposition,thelengthshouldbe219mm
(8-5/8inches);ifitisattachedintherear
position,thelengthshouldbe232mm(9-1/8
inches).
