Note:Ensurethatthemowerdeckislevelbefore
matchingtheheightofcut(HOC).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Checktirepressureofthedrivetires.
Ifneeded,adjustto124kPa(18psi).
4.Positionthemowertothe102mm(4inches)
height-of-cutposition.
LevelingtheCenterDeckand
WingDecks
1.Raisethecenterdeckandfoldthewingsby
pressingdownattherearofthedeck-liftswitch.
Holdtheswitchdownuntilbothwingsare
completelyfolded.
2.Positionthemowertothe102mm(4inches)
height-of-cutposition.
3.Unlocktheleftandrightwingdeckcamlocks
(Figure71).
4.Removeandretainthewingdeckheight-of-cut
lanyard(Figure71).

7.Starttheengine.

theseat.Ensurethatallpersonsareclearof
thedeckwings.
8.Pressandholdthefrontofthedeck-liftswitch
untilthecenterdecklowersandbothwingsare
completelyunfoldedtothecuttingheight.
9.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
10.Measurefromthelevelsurfacetothefronttipof
theleftandrightcenterdeckblades(Figure72).
Themeasurementshouldread102mm(4
inches).
