EachHydraulicSystemOilCapacity:1.5L(52oz)
persidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthe
hydraulicoillevel.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),move
themotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
4.Waitfortheengineandhydraulicsystemtocool
for10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickisincorrectif
youchecktheoilwhenthemachineishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthe
hydraulicsystemreservoirs(Figure89).
7.Remove1dipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure89).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickinto
thereservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure
89).
Note:Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowly
pouronlyenoughoilintothehydraulicreservoir
toraisetheleveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulic
unitswithoil,asdamagemayoccur.Donot
runthemachinewiththeoilbelowtheadd
mark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

Usecardboardorpapertond
hydraulicleaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthe
hydraulicsystembeforeperforming
anyworkonthehydraulicsystem.
Makesurethatallhydraulicoilhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionand
thatallhydraulicconnectionsand
ttingsaretightbeforeapplying
pressuretothehydraulicsystem.
